Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada
Unmarried-moving to mexico
I have a 2 year-old son, his father and I have never been married and he lives in california and I live in nevada. Because of my job I might be moving to Mexico. There is no court order saying who has custody and he rarely pays child support. Will I have a problem since I might be moving out of the country?

Thank you for your inquiry.
When two unmarried parents have a child and the current custodial parent wishes to move with the child out of state, you need to obtain either:
1) Written permission from the other parent;
or
2) A Court Order granting you permission to relocate out-of-state.
If you are filing a petition with the Court for relocation you may also petition for a Termination of Parental Rights which, if granted, would give you freedom to relocate easier in the future.

You still need to get the natural father's written permission, a court order or terminate the natural father's parental rights.
