Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

visitation in another state

i live in another state from my ex who has custody of our son. He will not let my son visit me in the summer months. I have to go there to see him. My son asks

him all the time to go see me and keeps telling him no it's too far even though

he lets him go with relatives to out of the way places. How can i get my son to have visits with me in my state????

Re: visitation in another state

If you were divorced in Nevada, a Motion can ask the court asking to modify the original decree so that it will specifically state how your visitation occurs.

Unless you have had serious problems in the past, such as not returning the child as promised after visits, drug, alcohol, or other legal problems that interfere with you being considered responsible for a child, your request is reasonable.

Call or e-mail me if you would like information on the cost of this process.
