As with everything in law, the answer is "it depends," but I have admitted all three into evidence when the circumstances were appropriate.

I agree with Mr. Willick that "it depends." It depends largely upon whether or not the evidence can be authenticated as being true, genuine, and unaltered representations of what was communicated by and between the parties.
