Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

Voluntary giving up parental rights

My daughter and son-in-law want to give up their parental rights of their kids. My wife and I would like to have the grandkids live with us. My question is if they give up their parental rights, and say 10 months from when they give up their parental rights can they be reinstated and we loose the grandkids to them?

Re: Voluntary giving up parental rights

If your daughter and son in law terminate their parental rights and you adopt their children and everything is done correctly, your daughter and son in law cannot thereafter reinstate their parental rights and re-take the children.
