Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

My wife cleaned out a joint bank account that I had setup. Seh secretly put our house up for sale(it's in her name). She has setup bank accounts in her name only.

Without filing for Divorce, can I file for a Temporary Restraining Order to prevent my wife from dissolving our marital assets and thinking that she has full rights to whatever money and property she can lays hands on?

NO!!!. You need to file for divorce immediately, file a lis pendens, which tells everyone of your claim to the house, and get a Preliminary Injunction with a judge's signature. In the Family Court, there is something called a joint preliminary injunction issued by the Clerk but in my opinion, it is not enforceable because you can only get contempt on a judge's order, not a clerk order.

You need to hire an attorney right away to protect yourself. If you would like to email me for an appointment, you may do so at [email protected]
