Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada
My wife has filed with Welfare to garnish my wages for child support. However, I have always paid my child support, and on time. Will they garnish my wages anyway? I would like to dispute this action. Do I have rights to stop it?

Request a hearing in UIFSA court. Bring proof that you have paid support, when you have paid and how much. Bring cancelled checks.
You cannot prevent a garnishment of current child support unless the child is living with you. You can influence the arrears amount (old child support) by providing the DA and the court with proof of payments and information about your old wages and current wages.
