Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

my wife and i have been taking care of our 3 yr old nephew who by all means was not doing well.we have got all the paper work signed and notary for guardianship .? now if i dont file for a few weeks ,will this be a problem or is there a time limit?

It's never a good idea to procratinate on something like this. Your nephew may need your responsible hand sooner rather than later. Also, guardianships are not permanent. If your nephew potentially will be raised by you, adoption may be more advisable.
