Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada
several years ago I was accused of molestation. I was never charged as they accusations were found to be retaliatory. As a a result I was awarded sole physical and legal custody of my daughter. The judge sealed to case as there were minor children involved and some still are minors. Recently, my ex mother in law who had court documents from the case as a result of a death has threatened to publically release these documents. This would be damaging to me professionally as well as to my daughter. What can be done to prevent this?

If she is putting conditions on you, I would suggest filing a police report for extortion. Also, you may find a lawyer who handles restraining orders as well as threatening to sue her for False Light, Libel, and other defamation causes of action. This is not really a family law question. I think it may be more a civil lawsuit/criminal matter. Please, get more opinions on the matter though.
