Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Nevada
My family owns a small vendor-based business where we provide services for clients. One of our clients recently cut us off and ceased their business relationship with us. The rationale for this arrived today in the form of a letter stating that two of the employees who work for our client claim to have had unprofessional encounters with me (one of two owners) over the phone--one woman claims I "cussed her out" while the other employee is not named. We have lost revenue in the neighborhood of $14k/month based on these accusations. I am wondering if we can bring a claim against either of these two employees or against the CEO as the letter we received was (presumably) generated and signed by him in which he explicitly states that these two supposed phone calls were the basis of his decision to end our relationship. Thanks!

You may have a hard time proving the charge of slander, libel or product/service disparagement, but it can be done. There are also other intentional "torts' for interference with contracts. Unless there is some evidence, which could be testimony, lots of it from your side, proving that these people are lying about you and your company, it will be very hard to prove.
