Boyfriend on hold, deportation
What can I do to not have him deported? He just had a warrant for a ticket that he didn't pay. The lady told me that he could get out on bail I paid the bail money, then he calls me saying that someone from immigration told him that he was going to be deported and made him sign a paper that said hold. You need a lawyer to represent him before the Immigration Judge, if he qualifies, he may eligible to apply for "Cancellation of Removal" to stop the deportation proceedings.
