Legal Question in Immigration Law in Nevada

H4 to F1, Please help.

My wife has been on H4 visa in the US for 5 months. She has been admitted for MS program with assistantship. To avail the assistantship, she has to be on F1 visa. I have beenn in the US for 5 years (3 years on F1 and 2 years on H1). Given our current situation will it be advisable to do the change of status for her from H4 to F1 in US or can she go to india and get the F1 stamped there. Are there chances that her visa app will be rejected in India. Please Help.

She can do the status change in the US there is no requirement to go back for status change. She should start the program and when she goes to India...she needs to get her passport stamped with the new visa. Are you getting sponsored for green card?
