prental compensation

My son was in--name removed--auto accident and i had to miss work to care for him and I want to know is that able to be settled in with--name removed--settlement? the insurance has offered to my 17 year old son but they will not include my loss wages or time that I have had to spend taken care of him.

You are only entitled to compensation if you witnessed the accident. You are not entitled to loss of your time or wages from taking care of him. You may be able to recover mileage, incidental expenses, etc., but that is all.
