Legal Question in Insurance Law in Nevada
truck accident
I was injured in a rollover accident
while driving a company water truck.
The cause of the rollover was due to
no brakes from a leak in the air
system. I am under the impression
that in Nevada, I can't sue my
employer due to workmen's comp
law, however, shouldn't I be entitled
to compensation from my employer's
auto insurance carrier? Thanks.

Re: truck accident
The worker's compensation bar may extend to the employer's automobile liability insurance carrier, if such coverage even applies in the first place. However, an independent products liability claim against the manufacturer of any defective or unreasonably dangerous vehicle or brake system might not likewise be barred.
