Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Nevada

Is it illegal to convert bought DVD's to electronic files and store them in a libary that my Dental Office can use to access the movies from a chair side PC and play them for patience (children) while they are getting their teeth worked on.

As a Franchise Attorney I believe you only need to consider the following for a moment and you will have your answer. You propose making copies of copyrighted material. Doesn't this ring any bells? On top of this, you propose using the copies for your business? Haven't you seen the copyright warning notice on all DVD's? Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
