Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Nevada

A person I know posted pictures of me and false information on a website without my permission. I was wondering if I can press charges or take other legal action.

As a Franchise Attorney I can say the following. There seem to be invasion of privacy issues here. How did this person get your pictures? The posting of false information may also be defamatory. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
