Legal Question in International Law in Nevada

power of attorney

I live in Nevada and wish to represent a company in Slovakia Europe, they wish for me to use a power of attorney for there corporation in oder to purchase a motor vehicles as well as to complete all customs documents for them. I Would love to know which power of attorney document i could use,as well as if these documents would need to be notarized in both countries.

Thank you for any advice you can give.

Re: power of attorney

You should have an attorney in the US prepare the form to meet US legal requirements; if it is to be signed by the principal in Slovakia, then it should be formalized in accordance with Slovakian law and then authenticated by apostille. This likely will require assistance of a Slovakian lawyer (the company should have one).

Best wishes,

Re: power of attorney

Just be carefull the consequences of the Law are in both countries different. You should have it notarized in Slovakia, translated and than notarized in Nevada.
