Legal Question in Employment Law in Nevada

I began employment for a company on Thursday 6/2/2011. The company pay period was 5/29/2011 - 6/11/2011 with payday being 6/17/2011. I am a salaried employee. My first week was a partial week where I only worked 22.5 hours, (8 hours on Thursday, 8 hours on Friday and 6.5 hours on Saturday). When I received my first check on 6/17, I was not paid for the hours worked on Saturday. When I questioned the company I was told that salaried employees do not get paid for Saturdays. It is my contention that since I did not work a full work week, the 22.5 hours should have adjusted to reflect an hourly rate. Does the company owe me for 6.5 hours or did I just get stiffed out of that money?
