Generally, Nevada is an at-will employment state, meaning that you can be terminated for any reason or no reason at all with a few exceptions, mostly pertaining to unlawful discrimination based on age, race, color, sex, gender, religion, national origin, and certain whistleblower protections. However, you may be entitled to unemployment benefits, depending largely on the amount of time that you were employed.
