Legal Question in Employment Law in Nevada

I had recently put my 2 weeks notice in. My employer is now threatening me by saying my hours are inaccurately documented, knowing that they are accurate and that i have key witnesses for them. They also do not pay for overtime even though our employees work more than 80hrs. What can i sue them for?

You should visit the Office of the Labor Commissioner. That office should be able to assist you at no cost to you. Go in person. The address is 555 E. Washington Ave., Ste. 4100.

While it is certainly true you can ask the Labor Commissioner for assistance, often (but not always) workers are better served in these matters (in my opinion) by retaining an attorney with experience in handling wage and hour, overtime pay, claims. Almost 100% of my law practice is devoted to representing employees with unpaid wage claims. Whether I can assist you effectively is another story, I would need to know a lot more about the details of your situation. Feel free to call me at 702-383-6085 for a free, confidential, no obligation, telephone consulation. Or visit my website overtimelaw.com for information on my law practice.
