Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Nevada
Eviction process
i served my tenants with a 5-day pay rent or quit for month of Nov. 2006, they responded to justice court*tenants & i did not agree on amount they owe me. Judge told me i had to do an unlawful detainer. i served them on 11-27-06. tonight they brought me December 2006's rent with note that judge ruled i must take a prorated rent for Nov. the judge did not rule that way. she told us to settle it in court and told me to serve them with unlawful detainer. i am keeping the rent money they say is for December and applying it to Novembers rent. and i want to do another eviction notice. but i don't know which way i should go. please, if you can help me i will be most grateful.

If rent is paid to date, you have no basis for the UD. I have been a LL for 25years. Call or email for help.
