Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Nevada
Items left in the property
I lived with a roommate for a few months. She abruptly moved out and left the majority of her things at my house. I tried to contact her many times but got no response. I continued to live there for about two months alone. I had to move in a hurry and did not know what to do with her things. I gave it all away to various people. Now she is mad and wants her things back. She wants to sue me for the value of the things. Is this my responsibility? Should I be worried?
