landlord lied &then sold my personal items at her garage sale

landord said fire man came by, and we had to move personal effect out of drive.well later she said do it by weekend now after just sayin that well next day on thurday she is taking all the stuff. she said she was storing for us. well that week end she sell a lot of my stuff at her sale. we are owing rent & have money to rent. but she sold my things before she served any 5 day

Your landlord is required by law to store your personal belongings for a period of 30 days after effecting an eviction.

Your landlord must follow certain procedures to evict you from the property; but even if they fail to do so, they must give you written notice of the lease breach and store your items for 30 days.

If you have suffered a significant loss in property, I would recommend filing a civil claim against your landlord.
