Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Nevada
Lease a property
I recently leased my home, and then I found out that I am behind on my house payments, and I am going to let the bank fore close, as I do not have the money to catch up the payments. How can I tell the new tenent that I cannot let her move. She was not moving in till Jan. 2008, but she has already paid a deposit and signed a contract.

Re: Lease a property
you will be required to reimburse the tenant her deposit and excuse her from the lease contract. Your home entering foreclosure voids the lease contract as you are unable to provide the services necessary to fulfill the contract.
