Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Nevada
Hello, I have been living at a rental property for a year and my lease was going to be up the end of February. In the beginning of January I asked my rental company if there was any chance I had to move because I would like to look early. They said no, sent another year lease, I signed it and sent it back. No all of a sudden they served me a 30 day notice saying the homeowner needs to move back in. And that THEY never signed the new lease so I have to move. Is this legal?! I already signed it and they already said I could stay.

The statute of frauds requires that a lease for a year or more be in writing. Since the landlord never signed the lease it's verbal offer is not binding despite your signature.
