Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Nevada
I am a renter, and the bank that owns the note on the property has asked that I stop paying my landlord, as they now own the property. My landlord is demanding the rent or threatening eviction. At the recorder's office, there is a notice of pendency of action on file. There is also a case in US District court that denies the petition to remove the foreclosure proceedings against my landlord. I am unsure of who to actually pay rent - the bank or my current landlord?
