Legal Question in Legal Malpractice in Nevada

I recently went to a Law firm to see if i could get some help in modifying my mortgage as i was getting nowhere with my lender myself.I went into my appt. with the managing attorney of the firm and he was also the owner of this firm,he introduced me to a gentleman and i was told he was a paralegal for the firm and I was to give him all my paper work such as loan docs, tax returns, pay stubs,etc...and he would let me know shortly if we were a candidate for a HAMP program. After several weeks I called back to speak to the gentleman and was told he didn't ework there nor had he ever been an employee there !!! I still have his card from theLaw firm with his title as paralegal on it. I feel this is a major case of misrepresentation as well as a violation of my privacy, and a serious ethics violation, what is my remedy ? As I have investigated further there are 7 to 9 other clients who were exposed to this gentleman under the same conditions, Is this not fraud against us?? I gave all my personal and private information to someone the law firm represented as an employee who it turns out NEVER was please advise!!!!!

It sounds as if you have a legitimate complaint. You could complaint to the Attorney generals office or even the state bar. Did they take any of your money?
