Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Nevada
Arm Broken, not set correctly
I broke both bones in my forearm, right behind the wrist, in February, 1999. It was set in the doctor's office using only novicaine as a sedative. The bones set correctly, but slipped out of place after it was casted for six weeks. I have lost all use of my arm. I spent 15 weeks in occupational therapy trying to regain some movement. I did get use of my shoulder and limited use of my elbow through therapy, but have no use of my wrist, hand or fingers. The doctor has all but written me off, he will not to give me any straight answers as to further treatment available. Is there any legal action I can take to remedy this?
