injury or car damage
is my case in jeapordy if the damage to my car wasn't a lot but now i have neck and back problems and will need surgury on my neck soon and later on my back. My lawyer tells me that the damages to my car need to be $2000.00 or more. Their insurances company said I only had $498.00 of damage, but my estimate was $ 2000.00 and that was me getting a deal to fix my car. I am a single disabled mother of two and the car accident has kept me from working 3 1/2 years and now I am on ssi. I go to court oct 7 2003 and my lawyer is trying to get me to settle for the insurance money because he said I needed my damage to my car is that true

There is no actual threshold, by law, but to convince a jury it is more difficult without property damage. What does your doctor say you suffered from this accident? Any preexisting conditons? What does the adverse doctor say?
