Legal Question in Personal Injury in Nevada

Loss of income due to accident

Live In Nevada

Was In A Commercial Vehicle Accident A Few Months Ago. I Am Waiting For A Few Surgeries To Be Set Up And Done. In The Meantime, I Am Off Work Due To Restrictions From The Doctor. My Employer Does Not Offer Light Duty For The Restrictions I Have. I Took The Fmla Leave And Have 4 More Weeks Left Before I Am Suppose To Go Back To Work - However, My Surgery Recover Times Will Be 6 To 8 Weeks - My Employer Advised Me That They Can Not Hold My Employment Spot After 12 Weeks.

Because Of The Car Accident I May Be Without A Job - If I Loose My Job Because I Cannot Return To Work Due To My Surgeries And Recovery Time In Time, Would I Be Compenstated For My Job Loss., Or Just The 12 Weeks That The Company Only Allows For Fmla Leave? The Current Job I Have Is A Great Job. It Pays $43,000.00 Yearly And Is A Union Job.

Re: Loss of income due to accident

Where you on the job at the time of the accident?

Whose fault was the accident? Was it someone who was not a co-employee?
