Legal Question in Personal Injury in Nevada

Personal injury-dog bite

Our son was bitten in the face by our neighbor's pit bull. They told us that their home owner's insurance does not cover pit bulls. Our son needs plastic surgury, which our insurance won't cover. Is there anything that we can do?

Re: Personal injury-dog bite

You are not precluded from bringing a civil lawsuit against your neighbors just because their homeowner's insurance does not cover pit bulls.

I would highly recommend you consult with an attorney to evaluate your case.

If you would like, contact my office and we can set up a free consultation to evaluate your matter.

You will have to sue your neighbor and garnish their wages.

My business partner, Mr. Herbe, already responded to your question. However, I would add this. You can never trust the other person when telling you about insurance coverage. Often, a person will lie about coverage to discourage law suits. You typically cannot get a copy of the policy until you file suit. Some policies do exclude pit bills, but most do not.

You seem to have a serious case and I encourage you to contact our firm.
