Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Nevada
Can't handle another bad thing
We bought our home 4 months ago. We saw the water spot on the ceiling, we asked about it and the sellers said it had been fixed 6 months ago, a/c condensation. They said they would show us the receipt. Before the signing of the purchase contract, I called my realtor 4 times about the receipt, finally he said they faxed it to him, so we signed(He later said that he doesn't actually have a copy of it).
Meanwhile, we went to Title to sign docs for the sell of our other home, and the buyers were supposed to be in that week. Their realtor kept saying ''They'll be in today''. They NEVER showed up! My realtor ended up faxing their realtor a note saying forget it and giving them back their earnest money! Then we had to pay $100/day for rent on this house until our other house sold again.
Fast forward to the present. The water spot on our bedroom ceiling expanded and with the rain, a hole decided to break through in the middle of the night.
I have called my realtor with no call backs. I have also realized that we don't have a signed copy of the final purchase agreement, the sellers disclosure is completely blank, and no one has a copy of this receipt for the ceiling work.
What can I do to these people?

Re: Can't handle another bad thing
It sounds like you have a lawsuit against the seller and the brokers/agents.
