Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Nevada
Joint Title
My wife and I divorced in 03, she gave me the house, I gave her 16500. I never removed her name from title and now after being on the market for 4 months the property has sold. Escrow is in July, legally do I have to split the proceeds-was told in court by a judge not her problem that I didn't refi and she is 50% owner. What are my options with such a limited time frame to work with before escrow to avoid letting her collect yet again?
