Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Nevada

Landlord Selling House while I'm renting

I am renting a house from a person. They are selling their house and didn't tell me. My lease isn't up and I would like to know these questions: 1. If they gave me the option to buy the house, is it legal for them to sell the house to someone else without my knowledge? 2. Am I still legally bound to pay rent to the landlord since they are selling the house and I intend to buy it? 3. Is it legal for them to put ''FOR SALE'' signs in the yard while I'm still leasing?

Re: Landlord Selling House while I'm renting

a. You probably can stay in home throughout your lease.

b. If you had a valid agreement or a right of first refusal, rent to own, or other agreement, it may be able to be enforced.

c. If you are living in home you must continue to pay rent.

d. when renting a property the landlord most likely has a right to put up for sale sign, unless lease says otherwise.
