How do I place a lein on property? Our past landload has failed to return our deposit on a house and the 30 days provided for this in our lease has expired. Note: we did a walk through with the landload on move out and all was in excellent condition and she said she would return it... just has not.

Sue the landlord in small claims court and record a copy of the judgment (or an abstract).
