Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Nevada
A man kept his horse at our house for $250 a month. He gave his notice, we prorated his cost for the time that he gave. He took his horse to its new owner and came back to our property to get his car. He was told that he was to pay when he took the horse. He came took the horse and did not pay. He was yelling and harassing my mom and I on our property and he then left. We contacted him the day after to pay as he said he would. He is now saying that we said " We do not want your money just leave off the property." If there is a legal action that we can take what is it?

Even if you did make the statement his is alleging you made, that does not void the contract you made with him. You would not have been able to keep his horse, contingent on his payment - so your release of the horse cannot operate as a release of his payment obligation.
Given the size of your claim, it is likely best handled in Small Claims - where there are a number of self-help resources available based on the county you are located in.
