getting my name off of a mortgage
in the middle of a divorce,moved out of house a few years ago,spouse has been living there with child, now behind several payments,may go into forclosure would like to get my name off the mortgage papers and put into spouse name

A divorce cannot modify the rights of creditors who are third parties to the divorce. The only way to get your name off the mortgate is to either get the Judge to sell the house or make your spouse refinance it.
