Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Nevada

ownership change

My new husband and two of his friends, one of whom was married purchased a home, cash in las vegas 3 years ago.

We married after the purchase, the unmarried owner died. It is a joint tenancy with rights of survivorship. What would my husband have to do to leave his share of the home to me or his son? Can we force a sale? Thank you.

Re: ownership change

If it was JT then he already owns. To leave to you he can do a trust, a will, or another joint tenancy.
