Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Nevada
polyurethane plumbing
We bought a condo in Las Vegas 2 Years ago. We had a water pipe burst last week and was informed that no one would cover the damages. ( homeowners insurance or home warranty insurance) because the pipes are polyurethane and are illegal. The company that made the pipes settled a law suit and would replace them but that ended 2 years ago. Well we did not know this, but the previous owners did. Do they not have an obligation to tell us. Was it legal for them to sell this condo knowing the plumbing was bad? They would have been informed of the company redoing the plumbing and I can't imagine why they didn't.

Re: polyurethane plumbing
If the previous owners settled the matter and did not replace the pipe or tell you they would be liable.
