did not recieve my money after 1st an 2nd loans paid off was to get 15000 used deed for colletural for 1 yr then can buy back. all phone contacts to company have been of no help they jusy brush me off told me the check would be sent out 1-10-07 still no check

Was this deal handled by a licensed escrow company? If so, I'd wait until at least 1/16 (no mail delivery 1/15) for the check to arrive, then ask the issuer to stop-pay on the first check and hand you a new check over the counter at their office.

If there is any reason why the foregoing doesn't work, there is a good possibility you are being ripped off and you should see a local lawyer and then the police.
