Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Nevada

I rent a house and want to pave my driveway because it is too dangerous to drive a car over the jagged rocks and such that are there. I asked my land lord if she would at least go half with me on the cost or deduct half of the cost from my monthly rent and she refused. Can she do that?

Since the landlord owns the property he or she has the final say on whether you can do it or not. Most landlords would not pay anything unless it was bargained for at the time of the lease signing.
