Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Nevada

Renting a foreclosed home

We are renting a home that we just learned is in foreclosure proceedings with Countrywide. We are concerned about our exposure to any liability, since we have a one year lease on this home. Are we safe in this home for the duration of our lease? Can we be liable for anything beyond our monthly rent? Can Countrywide evict us if they take possession of the home?

Re: Renting a foreclosed home

Countrywide can evict you as they do not have to accept the mortgagor's lease to you.
