Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Nevada
Survivors
We live in Illinois. Before we were married my husband and two friends bought a home in Las Vegas cash. Each contributed 1/3 of the cost. He is the surviving owner. He has now inherited the other two thirds of the property through the death of the two co-owners. Does the title passage mean I now have ownership interest in the property since it is effectively an inheritance? Or does it remain just his because he bought his portion before we were married.

Re: Survivors
That property is his separate property. Property acquire by inheritance is always separate property.
