Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Nevada

Timeshare Deed Exchange

We own a deeded timeshare, and our timeshare company have decided to exchange properties with a major Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas resulting from a bankrupcy settlement, and have asked everyone to exchange deeds for the new Unit at a different location. We, on the other hand, do not want to exchange deeds, and just want to get out of the timeshare all together. We have not exchanged deeds as requested, by the specified timeline given to us. What recourse do we have if we don't exchange deeds for the new property? Should we just sit tight and let them contact us? We are still paying all fee, and payments. The information we received was that there was no provision made in the settlement for Harrah's to buy back deeds.

If you do not accept and litigate the matter in the Bankruptcy proceeding, then chances are you will forfeit your interest and your claim will be extinquished.
