Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Nevada

Title issues.

We bought our home in August of 2005 it is now June 2 2009 we just got a notice of a trustee's sale on our property. We have learned that there is a mortgage lien on our home from two previous owners. This lien was not discovered when we bought our home until now. We have contacted our title co and they are not cooperating. They have requested that we contact an attorney. We have been looking for an attorney for a week now and still do not have legal representation. I would like to know can we stop the trustee's sale? If so how? Can we save our home? Who do we go to ask for answers? Please help. We have an appointment tomorrow at 9am with an attorney but do not know if they will consider our case.

Re: Title issues.

Did you hire the attorney from the appointment yesterday. If not, I will meet with you next week and waive the consultation fee. I don't understand the position of the title insurance company.

Have you submitted a formal claim? Maybe they are telling you to hire an attorney as a stall tactic and hope you blow a deadline.
