Legal Question in Social Security Law in Nevada

ssi/disability benefits

My husband is sick and applying for ssi/disability I, his wife, received monies from my dad's estate which has finally been settled. Will I have to pay down bills, and get rid of this money for him to qualify?

Only if he goes on medicaid. Disability and medicare are something you have paid for and are entitled to without paying down. However, medicaid is welfare which requires paydown.
