The IRS is taking 80 percent of my pay! It is making it impossible for me to even feed my dog! They are unwilling to negotiate a payment plan. I apparently owe 19,000 from the year 2,000..PLEASE HELP! For the month of February, they have taken 3100 from my pay.

The best way to stop it is a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. If you timely filed the returns and there was no fraud, you would not owe the money after the bankruptcy. If you are not eligible for a Chapter 13 or there is a problem with the taxes, we would design a five year plan to pay them back based upon how much money you have left over after you pay all your bills.
The bankruptcy will stop all garnishments. Finally, since it appears you have tried to negotiate, bankruptcy is the only option. If you would like an appointment, please email me.
