Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Nevada
Deceased Mother's Probate
After probate was completed, the
documents stated that my mother's creditors
should be paid through the proceeds of the
sale of my mother's mobile home. Am I
obligated to pay them?

Yes, if that is what is ordered. Only the spouse could claim an exemption on the mobile home.

Not personally. But, the personal representative of the estate in probate must pay them from the proceeds before distribution to any heirs.

Re: Deceased Mother's Probate
This doesn't make sense. Probate doesn't close until the claims are paid. So how could probate be completed if you still have creditor claims?
