My husband died while his inheritance is in probate

My father-in-law died in Oct 2005. He had no will. His wife died many years ago. He has two surviving children. My husband was one and his sister the other. My husband died 10 days ago..before his father's estate was settled. It has been in probate since January 2006. He has over $200,000 in money and assets. Will I have any claim to the estate now that my husband has died or will it all go to his sister? My husband had no will either.

Your husband's inheritance should go into his estate and then distributed however his will indicates. You should start probate for your husband's estate.
