Can a person have two trusts?

I have found a Charitable Trust and a Revocable Inter-Vivos Trust among my fathers paper's. The Charitable trust leaves everything to his Alma Mater. The Living Trust divides everything amongst his four children. Can a person have two trusts?

People often have more than one trusts. The trust language and trust date will have to be reviewed to see if one takes precedent over the other.

Yes one can have two trusts, but, if in conflict over the same assets, check for thelater in date, and or terms of the trusts to resolve conflicts.
