Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Nevada

Probate _ what now?

This is what the court has online now:

''Last Hear 07/06/2001 For PETITION FOR PROBATE OF WILL, & FOR ISSUANCE OF LETTERS TESTAMENTARY

Outcome GRANTED''.

Can someone possibly tell me what happens now. My uncle is executor to the will, but I don't really know him and it's my other uncle he passed on.

IS there anything I should do? What happens next with this probate stuff?

I'm clueless.

TIA,

Da

Tia: Since the Will has been admitted to probate, it is a public document and you can get a copy by calling the local Surrogate's Court and paying a small fee. If you were named in it, the executor is supposed to provide you a copy. If you have any entitlement, the executor has to account to you for all activity of the estate (assets, expenses paid, fees paid and any taxes paid). It could be many months if there were tax liabilities (estate taxes or income taxes) so do not expect to get anything quickly, unless there is some interim distribution after all liabilities are know and provided for.
